Lots of Free Fun as well. Get a movie from your local library & make popcorn.
I also love to play with my cats, and that gets me moving more & sometimes I crack up from their antics. Playing Charades is fun too, some penny anny poker. Going for a walk & looking at all the different flowers, cactus, & trees. Baking/Making Candy with a friend/family member, trying some old recipes from childhood & adapting (vegan for me) to your diet. Then too by yourself word games like ampersands are fun & they challenge you every time.

    1. All fun stuff, Maria. With so much in this world we can enjoy, boredom really is a choice.

As someone with ADHD, I have found that sometimes I feel like I’m behind on my work and thus don’t “deserve” to have fun, so then I don’t do many fun things, get more stressed, have MORE trouble getting my work done, have less fun, and so on and so on!

I have a strong work ethic, so I’ve begun telling myself that having fun is required in order for me to work effectively. Viewing it like this has caused me to schedule more fun things into my life. Tonight I’m playing board games and tomorrow I’m going to Spanish class, hanging out with a friend, and then teaching myself how to make beef jerky.
